Michelle David

Michelle David is one of the Netherlands' top performers. Born in the USA, she spent her days singing in the church choir before moving on to study at The New York High School for the performing Arts (also known as the FAME school). After completing her study, she began her career on Broadway and not long after travelled the world with the Musical "I Want To Sing". Finally, she ended up in Amsterdam, where she stayed.

Now, together with The Gospel Sessions she's bringing the world music that soothes the heart and soul with her musical journey to the roots of gospel and beyond. With a mix of soul, funk, Afrobeat and jazz, she has won stages in the Netherlands, Germany and France. She has played at North Sea Jazz Festival and Lowlands and she performed for the Dutch King and Queen during Concert aan de Amstel.
