Programme & planning

Jong Metropole organises two projects each year: the Summer Tour (usually in July / August) and the Autumn Tour (October / November) . During these projects, Jong Metropole members get together for an intensive rehearsal period followed by a series of concerts in The Netherlands and sometimes (in case of the Summer Tour) abroad.

Auditions for the 2026 projects will take place from 25 to 28 March 2026. Jong Metropole's next project will be in the summer of 2026 with conductor Jacomo Bairos. The concert programme, with Brazilian and Cuban touches, will be performed during the Muziekzomer Gelderland music festival and at Young Euro Classics in Berlin, among other venues. The Autumn Tour will go across the Netherlands with legendary conductor Simon Dobson.

Project dates Summer: 27 July - 7 August (rehearsals + 4 concerts)
Autumn: 23 - 29 November (rehearsals + 3 concerts - to be confirmed)
