In March 2020, Snarky Puppy band leader Michael League and drummer/singer Jamison Ross came to the Netherlands to work on a series of concerts together with Jong Metropole. It became an experimental program with raw jazz, soul, hip hop, R&B and funk and above all a lot of fun. On the eve of the tour the tour had to be cancelled, allowing only for a single livestream.
We are therefore pleased to announce two extra concerts with which the musicians of Jong Metropole can continue the special collaboration with Michael League and Jamison Ross. And not only that: the two Snarky Puppy band members are taking the American jazz singer and songwriter Becca Stevens with them this time. All ingredients for a special second and third edition of 'Jong Metropole plays Snarky Puppy' are therefore present. Tickets for the live concerts are on sale at Musikfest Bremen!
