Summer tour 2024: Sol y Sonido!

Get ready for a sultry summer with the Jong Metropole's South American program.

Prepare yourself for dazzling rhythms, beautiful melodies and the contribution of Latin music specialists from the world music department of Codarts Rotterdam. All conducted by the inspiring Portuguese-American Jacomo Bairos.

Bairos lives in Lisbon and has his own orchestra in Miami, the 'Nu Deco Ensemble'. Nu Deco Ensemble’s mission is to create compelling and transformative genre-bending musical experiences that inspire, enrich and connect new and diverse audiences and artists.

The program of Sol y Sonido also includes the new composition by Camiel Jansen (winner of the Rogier van Otterloo Award 2023 for Jong Metropole).
